Great news, Route 3 family — the Boil Water Notice has officially been lifted. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, kindness, and understanding while we worked through this process.
On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required the Western Cass Water Supply Corporation public water system, TX0340066, to issue a Boil Water Notice. This notice was put in place to inform customers, individuals, and employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water needed to be boiled prior to use for drinking or human consumption.
We’re happy to share that the public water system has now taken all necessary corrective actions to restore water quality. We have provided TCEQ with laboratory test results confirming that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
